  • Wash hands often with soap & water and use a hand sanitizer
  • Practice a healthy lifestyle
  • Eat well
  • Get enough sleep
  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • De-stress

WHAT TO DO DURING A PANDEMIC FLU


 

  • Stay 6 feet apart if you, or someone else, is sick
  • Wash hands often with soap & water and use a hand sanitizer
    • Wash hands thoroughly (minimum 30 seconds with soap) including between fingers and wrists
  • Cover mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing
    • Cough or sneeze into your sleeve or elbow rather than into your hand
    • Immediately discard all tissues and wash hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth
  • Stay home from work or school if you are sick
  • Stop shaking hands
  • Use your own pen or stylus
  • Don’t share cups, bottles, or utensils at home or work
  • Reduce trips to public places
